A collection of original, vintage postage stamps arranged on canvas with a three-dimensional element and painted background. The work is mounted behind conservation glass within a dark brown, wooden frame.

Collected from a variety of sources, these world stamps have been grouped into two separate sections, one half front facing and the other reversed and painted. Together they form the shape of a globe. With their own individual histories, the stamps date from various years throughout the twentieth century.

Evoking a sense of nostalgia, this work references a bygone era when mail was the primary form of correspondence.
