A collection of original, vintage postage stamps arranged on canvas with a three-dimensional element. The work is mounted behind conservation glass within a dark brown, wooden frame.

Collected from a variety of sources, these world stamps have been laid out in a mosaic-style pattern forming the shape of a globe. With their own individual histories, they date from various years throughout the twentieth century and have been grouped together in a colour palette inspired by the autumnal shades of North America.

Evoking a sense of nostalgia, this work references a bygone era when mail was the primary form of correspondence.
