A collection of original, vintage collecting cards and acrylic crystals arranged on painted canvas with a three-dimensional element. The work is mounted behind glass within a white, wooden frame.

Featuring hand drawn images of birds, these cards were produced by the Brooke Bond Tea Company in the 1960’s and have been gathered from a variety of sources. Brought together, they create a repetitious pattern.

The addition of Swarovski crystals act as 3D eyes for the birds, bringing them to life when catching the light.
